The Larimer County Jane Jefferson Democratic Club is the oldest women's political group in the USA. Named after the mother of Thomas Jefferson, the Club was founded at the beginning of the 20th Century to encourage women's understanding of and involvement in the political process.

The objective of the Jane Jefferson Democratic Club is "To promote the Jeffersonian kind of democracy," which means doing the most good for the greatest number of people.

Now the Club is open to men and focuses on member education and outreach. It is an "activist" group providing seminars and networking with other groups to define and promote the Democratic agenda.

Meetings are the first Saturday of each month, or as announced.
